Trend Alert! Balsa Wood Flowers
If you're looking for a romantic, unique, vintage-style ivory flower to incorporate into your wedding- look no further! The balsa wood flower is the one for you. It's soft and delicate looking and is a perfect accent or focal flower. There's a catch though. It's not even a real flower! It's made of delicate wood... but that's probably the best part about it. It's an element you can pluck from your bouquet or table arrangements and keep long after all the fresh flowers have (sadly) wilted and turned to memory. It's super versatile and works well bunched all together for a monochromatic clutch, or paired with eith rustic style flowers or romantic soft whites and blushes. Check it out, and think about it! I'm actually using them for a wedding in a few weeks, and then again later in the season so check back for pics from those weddings.
Can you tell me how balsa wood flowers are eco-friendly? Every source I have found says they are imported and manufactured in countries like India and China where environmental standards are lower and labors are underpaid and exploited. Not to mention that while it is wood, the manufacture of wood is one of the most environmentally damaging processes that exist.
